Therapy begins with a conversation about you, what has brought you to therapy, and your goals for the future. We will discuss and explore your values, beliefs, and preferences and incorporate these into your treatment. I believe you are an expert in your own life. I am here to partner with you in a journey of self-discovery. My goal is to help you achieve your goals.

 

I approach emotional and mental health challenges from a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma informed perspective. I individualize my approach and process to best meet your needs. I work to create a warm, non-judgmental, and accepting space for you so you are able to devote time strictly for you and your well-being.

 

Relationship and alliance between the therapist and client is important in the overall success of the therapeutic process. Therefore, I consistently seek feedback from you on our sessions to make sure we are moving in the right direction for you. I welcome any and all feedback. 

 

I enjoy exploring what has worked well for you and help you build on your successes. I often employ mindfulness and meditation, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and motivational interviewing to help you move forward. I work with you to identify and provide you with the tools needed to cope with hardships and realize your dreams.
